Day 02– Visit to Sigiriya & Climbing the Sigiriya Rock Fortress-(UNESCO World Heritage Site Declared 1982 is a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of Granite rock approximately 180m (590ft) high. This area was a large forest, then after storms and landslides it became a hill and was selected by King Kashyapa(AD 477–495) for his new capital.He built his palace on top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful Frescoes capital and the royal palace were abandoned after the king's death. It was used as a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century. It is one of the best preserved examples of ancient urban planning.)

- The type of transport vehicle may change according to availability, but CeylonSkies strives to provide you the best type suites you.
- Please note that all vehicles used by CeylonSkies are fully insured with reputed Insurance companies & as per Sri Lankan Government rules & regulations. Vehicle & its all passengers (when staying inside the vehicle or during the ride only) are fully covered by the said Insurance.
- English speaking Guide/Driver will always be provided for the tour. Other language speaking Guides may available according to availability and may incur additional charges. If you require a Guide who speaks a language of your choice, you must advise CeylonSkies when you request the Tour Package details.
- Star rated hotels will be provided for this Tour Package-(This may change depending on your request)
- Meals will be always on half board basis. If you request meal plan to change that must be advised to CeylonSkies when you confirm your tour package
- Kids below 3 or 5 years of age are free of charge (Child’s age limit depends on different hotel policies).Kids between 4 or 6 up to 12 years (Child’s age limit depends on different hotel policies) are subjected to prevailing hotel charges and the charge will be added in your package price when you confirm the tour. You should fill in the web form correctly with correct ages for guests below 12 years of age in order to finalize the tour package correctly.
- Any extra request to the hotel must be advised to CeylonSkies at the time of booking and charges may incur according to hotel policies. Those charges will be added to your tour package price.
- Price mentioned in tour packages on our CeylonSkies website are always the starting price and not the final Tour Package price.
- Final full tour package price will be provided to you only after you have completed and submitted the online form to us.
- Payments can be made via Bank transfers or through Credit Card payments.
- You must pay 50% of your full tour package price when you confirm the tour to CeylonSkies. Rest of the 50% must be paid 15 days prior to your arrival to Sri Lanka
- Please note any sort of cancellation or refund after your confirmation of the tour will solely depend on the nature of the tour package, its related services, the respective service providers’ business policies & CeylonSkies business policies. If any refund/cancellation request comes from our customers such requests will be processed after carefully evaluating all Tour Package related service providers’ refund/cancellation policies & CeylonSkies refund/Cancellation policies. In this case Some services are non-refundable even if the service is not used and some are partly refundable after processing fee of related services.
- Please note that none of the Tour Packages provided by CeylonSkies are refundable after the completion of your tour with CeylonSkies and no such requests will be processed.
- Please note that all vehicles used by CeylonSkies are fully insured with reputed Insurance companies & as per Sri Lankan Government rules & regulations. Vehicle & its all passengers (when staying inside the transport vehicle or during the ride only) are fully covered by the said Insurances.
- CeylonSkies will follow Sri Lanka’s local Health & Safety protocols in case of any sudden unforeseen event related to your Health & Safety
- CeylonSkies always carry a First Aid kit in the transport vehicle that is being provided to you free of charge.
- CeylonSkies will direct you to the nearest Medical, Consular or Security centers if any related needs arise.
